Reformation Day at Bled Castle

On Reformation Day, Bled Castle celebrates the Slovenian printed word and Primož Trubar with an interactive programme on the lower terrace. Visitors can learn about the Abecedarium, receive a special postcard, join an alphabet sampler embroidery workshop, and watch printing demonstrations on a replica of Gutenberg's printing press. An exhibition about Primož Trubar, author of the first printed book in Slovenian, will also be on display. The event commemorates Trubar's historic stay at Bled Castle in June 1561.
