Vida – Ejti Štih

From 15 June to 31 August 2026, Bled Castle presents the Vida exhibition by academic painter Ejti Štih in the Bitenc Hall. The show features 18 works exploring stereotypical social roles, subordination, and gender inequality. Vida is named after Slovenian artist Vida Pauluša and includes a large bridal veil crafted by Štih from Pauluša's works — a symbolic reminder of women's invisible labor. Štih, born in 1957 in Slovenia and now Honorary Consul of Slovenia in Bolivia, has held over 170 solo exhibitions across five continents.
